Director of Clinical Experiences and Partnerships

SALARY: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually

The Director of Clinical Experiences and Partnerships provides support and leadership for
our growing Professional Development School (PDS) partnerships. The director works with
faculty and K-12 school partners to provide field experience assignments for all teacher
education candidates and maintains systems for collecting and approving candidate
clearances. The director is expected to be engaged with the scholarship of clinical
partnerships through involvement with appropriate state and national organizations such
as the National Association of Professional Development Schools, the National Student
Teaching and Supervision Conference, and the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and
Teacher Educators.

M.Ed. in a field aligned with one of Kutztown's educator preparation programs.
Five or more years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience in a
public school at the PK - 12 level.
Experience serving as a university supervisor, cooperating teacher, or in another
appropriate educational context with student teachers.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships between internal and
external stakeholders.
Knowledge of and commitment to creating and maintaining partnerships with
Ability to use technology systems to maintain databases related to clinical
placements and clearances.
Commitment to diversity and equity.

PhD or Ed.D in a field aligned with one of Kutztown's educator preparation
Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
Experience coordinating field placements in a K-12 or post-secondary setting.

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $55,000 – 65,000, commensurate
with experience.
