The PASCD conference committee has booked some of the biggest names in education today as the keynote speakers.

• Jay McTighe, co-author of the successful "Understanding by Design" series. His new book "Schooling by Design: Mission, Action, and Achievement." has been an instant success.

• Will Richardson, author of "Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms." The newly updated edition will hit bookstores in July 2008. 

• Dr. Joseph Clapper, superintendent of the high-achieving Quaker Valley School District ~ one of only three "digital school districts" in Pennsylvania has received national blue ribbons for each school building in the district.
