HELLO EVERYONE! I hope you all are off to a good start to the school year. I have a few things to share with you. REMINDER—Please plan to attend the upcoming PASCD State Conference in Hershey on November 23 – 25. Check it out at www.pascd.org/annualconference. NEWS 1. Southcentral PASCD is planning a breakfast networking session at the Bedford Springs Resort on Friday, March 26, 2010. Registration will be approximately $30, but details will be finalized later. The SCPASCD Leadership Team would like to invite you to share new initiatives, best practices, or unique programs that you have in your school district. If you are willing to share and facilitate a small group table-top discussion, please let me know by October 1. 2. Bedford Springs Resort is offering a special package for accommodations if at least ten of us stay overnight on either Thursday or Friday. The special room rate will be $149 per night and includes all amenities of this exquisitely charming resort and spa. In early October, once we have determined if there is sufficient interest in the breakfast meeting, I will get details to you and make final arrangements for those of you who want to take advantage of the special room rate offer.
