Pennsylvania ASCD's online Curriculum Leadership Academy is a program designed to provide educators an in-depth, professional learning experience in curriculum leadership. The following topics are covered: (1) Foundations of Curriculum Leadership, (2) Analyzing the Curriculum Design, (3) Developing and Revising the Curriculum, and       (4) Implementing and Evaluating the Curriculum.  The target audience for this course includes: central office administrators, principals, assistant principals, and other educational leaders. Strategies and techniques to be successful, available resources, and how to continue to improve in various areas of curriculum leadership will be addressed.

This is an Act 45 approved professional development opportunity worth forty (40) Act 45 hours. 

Target Audience:

The Curriculum Leadership Academy is designed for central office administrators, principals, assistant principals, and other educational leaders who are interested in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in the district. 

Program Format:

What is the format of the Online Curriculum Leadership Academy?

Pennsylvania ASCD's Online Curriculum Leadership Academy allows participants to work at their own pace asynchronously in our online learning management system. Participants will respond to discussion board posts, review relevant presentations, and submit job-embedded assignments.
