The 2026-2027 PA EDGE Scholarship Application Process will open in January 2026.

PA EDGE is committed to supporting preservice educators as they begin their teaching careers in the Commonwealth. Since 1994, PA EDGE (formerly PASCD) has been providing scholarship awards to students who are majoring in education at colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. Two scholarships are awarded annually.

Two Scholarship Awards are available:

• One - $2000 scholarship
• One - $3000 Dr. Mary Ravita Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: All information should be received by 11:59 PM on April 30th, 2026. 

ALL information will be submitted electronically within the digital application.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Student must be a PA resident enrolled in their second, third or fourth year of studies at a Pennsylvania college or during the 2026-2027 academic year. A fifth year of study, for the purposes of earning teacher certification, will be accepted.
• Student must be enrolled full-time in an educational major.
• The completed application and transcript must be submitted by 11:59 PM on April 30th, 2026.
